WEEKEND FORECAST FOR THE 9th & 10th January.

A weekend of onshores from mid saturday morning onwards, all depending on how quickly the trough deepens. A little swell which will increase by Sunday. Hopefully some of the banks on the Mandurah and metro beach breaks will get shifted around.

Perth & Mandurah
Saturday:
Could see some light variable offshore winds early morning, tending Light to moderate SW to W/SW by mid morning, becoming moderate to fresh SW in the afternoon. Waist to chest high waves the norm along the beach breaks building late afternoon.
Sunday:
Moderate SW in the morning tending moderate to fresh S/SW by midday. Waist to chest high the norm on the beach breaks with shoulder to head high sets. Some of the small swell reef breaks will have a few on offer.

Margaret River
Saturday:
Possibility of light variable offshore winds early morning, tending moderate SW to W/SW in the morning, becoming moderate to fresh SW in the afternoon. Three to five footers the norm at Mainbreak on a swell that will build through the day. Protected small swell reefs and beach breaks your best option in the morning with the bays and points starting to break in the afternoon.
Sunday:
Moderate SW in the morning tending moderate to fresh S/SW to S in the afternoon Mainbreak will be offering six to eight footers as the norm with the odd bigger sneaker in the arvo. Bays and Points will be your best option for some clean ones, just you, your mates and 900 others.
