Updated MONDAY 07/12/09. 09:00hrs.(wsdt) WEEKEND FORECAST FOR THE 12th & 13th December. Seriously, try taking up wake boarding or skurfing if you live in the Perth and Mandurah areas for this summer. PERTH METRO Saturday: Moderate to fresh E winds becoming S to S/SE in the afternoon. Knee high the norm along the beach breaks with the odd thigh high set. Low tide in the morning is not going to help out in the shape department, not that it matters as what little swell on offer will have no punch anyway. Sunday: Moderate to fresh E/NE to NE winds in the morning swinging thru the NW by midday then becoming fresh S to S/SW in the afternoon. Knee high the norm along the beach breaks with a great morning coming up for fishing and swimming and that's about it. MARGARET RIVER Saturday: Moderate to fresh E/SE shifting fresh S to S/SE in the afternoon. Mainbreak will be providing inconsiste waves of around the Two to three foot mark with the odd four footer. Crowded mall swell beachies and reefs will be the go with mid morning being the better time for a paddle. Sunday: Moderate to fresh E/SE in the morning becoming fresh S to SSE by he afternoon. Two to three footers the norm at Mainbreak. Crowded small swell beach and reef breaks again your best option..
