Updated FRIDAY 23/10/09. 07:00hrs.(wsdt) WEEKEND FORECAST FOR 24th & 25th October. SUNDAY IS THE PICK OF THE DAYS FOR THE WEEKEND Another good weekend for waves on Saturday with all day offshores forecast, Sunday especially in the South West looking pretty damn good with perfect offshore winds and a strong medium size swell running. Unless this high pressure system pumps up which will end up seeing howling offshore winds which will see the swell get blown back out with small waves on offer. PERTH METRO Saturday: Moderate to fresh E/SE winds, abating in the afternoon. Beach breaks will be providing waves around the waist to chest high mark with the odd one with shape. Sunday: Moderate to fresh E winds in the morning tending E/NE throughout the day with wave heights on the beach breaks of between the waist to shoulder high mark with the odd head high sets. MARGARET RIVER Saturday: Moderate to fresh E/SE winds, abating in the afternoon. Mainbreak will be between the four to six foot mark foot mark on a building swell thru the morning. Expect some classic conditions in the arvo with a solid swell. Sunday: Moderate to fresh E winds in the morning tending E/NE throughout the day Mainbreak will be providing waves heights of between the four to six foot mark and perfect surfing conditions on offer.
