THE SURF REPORT        REPORT FILED   FRIDAY   04/07/08   7.15 am
  PERTH METRO

WIND:  NE @ 8 to 12 knots.
WAVES:  Inconsistent knee to waist high waves the norm with the very odd chest high set along the beach breaks.
MARZ'S COMMENTS:  Still some waves with shape, albeit a bit smaller and inconsistent than yesterday along the beachies. You will be waiting a long time for the better ones. Sooner than later is the call before that wind swings into he north.
Support your local shaper, support your local surf shop.
Marzs Rating: 3.5 out of 10.

  MANDURAH

WIND:  NE to N/NE @ 6 to 8 knots.
WAVES:  Inconsistent waist high waves the norm with chest high sets on the beach breaks.
MARZ'S COMMENTS:   Beach breaks are throwing up a few with shape, but you will have to wait for the better ones. Still good banks on offer, but today is the last day before they get rearranged again by the weather tomorrow. Sooner than later the call.
Marzs Rating: 3 out of 10.

  MARGARET RIVER

WIND:  S/SW @ 10 to 15 knots.
WAVES:  Three footers the norm with the odd four footer and on the rise.
MARZ'S COMMENTS: Mainbreak mush along with all the open ocean breaks at the moment. Some of the protected beach breaks are still providing some clean beltable walls and obviously are your better option.
Marzs Rating: 5 out of 10 protected beach breaks.

Mad Marz.
REMEMBER THE ONLY THING YOU SHOULD LEAVE ON THE BEACH ARE YOUR FOOTPRINTS, RUBBISH GOES IN THE BIN.
