Deep low pressure system west of the State will cause gale to storm
force winds combined with a large swell in the South West region,
severe erosion of beaches and possibly primary dunes will be
prevelant.

PERTH METRO BEACHES
Wind Direction: N/NW winds 25 - 38 knots increasing to 35/45
knots early Wednesday morning. Squalls to 50 knots plus possible.
Swell mean time period: 10 - 12 seconds.
Swell direction:W/NW
tending W.
Surf size (waves): 4.0 metre to
4.5 metres, rising to 5
metres and possibly larger combined sea
and swell.
SOUTH WEST BEACHES (Margaret River Region)
Wind Direction: N/NW winds variable to NW 35 - 50 knots.
Squalls to 60 knots plus possible.
Swell mean time period: 10 - 12 seconds.
Swell direction:W/NW
tending W.
Surf size (waves): 4.0 metre to
4.5 metres plus, rising to 6
metres plus throughout the day, possibly
larger. 18 to 22 feet combined sea and swell.
Swell will rapidly back off by Thursday afternoon as the low moves
quickly Eastwards.
