HIGH SURF WARNING ADVICE ISSUED: Wednesday 25/07/07.....6.00pm Period of commencement Monday 30/07/07 A rather munted looking system combined with high tides in the morning will create moderate to severe beach errossion. Large seas and surf will provide unsafe surf conditions for Monday and Tuesday on the open ocean breaks will prevail till late Tuesday afternoon as the swell peaks. MONDAY Perth & Mandurah Wind direction: W/NW 30 to 40 knots stronger in squalls. Swell direction: W/SW. Period: 13 to 14 seconds. Waves: 5 to 6 metres on the open ocean. Head high to double head high on the open ocean breaks. Unsafe surfing conditions . Margaret River Winds: W @ 30 to 40 knots stronger in squalls. Swell direction: W/SW. Period: 13 to 14 seconds. Waves: 6.5 to 7.5 metres on the open ocean. Twelve to fifteen feet with eighteen to twenty foot sets at Mainbreak. Unsafe surfing conditions . TUESDAY Perth & Mandurah Wind direction: W 30 to 40 knots stronger in squalls. Swell direction: W/SW. Period: 13 to 14 seconds. Waves: 6 to 7 metres on the open ocean.
